Is Rinelle free to use?

Yes, 100%. Rinelle is a utility-first application built to deliver reliable, high-performance role management to Discord communities with zero paywalls or premium tiers.

How many color roles can I create?

Discord enforces a hard limit of 250 roles per server across all bot and administrative roles. Rinelle allows you to create as many color roles as your Discord server has available role slots.

Can users pick multiple color roles?

By default, Rinelle enforces a clean single-active-color policy. When a user selects a new color role from /color-menu, their previous Rinelle color role is automatically removed to avoid role buildup.

🔧 Troubleshooting & Permissions

Why does Rinelle say "My highest role is placed too low in the server hierarchy"?

In Discord, a bot cannot assign or modify any role that is placed higher than the bot's own highest role in Server Settings > Roles.

To fix this:

1. Open your Discord server settings.
2. Go to Roles.
3. Drag the Rinelle role above all color roles that members can select.

What happens if I accidentally delete a role in Discord?

Don't worry! Run /verify-roles. Rinelle's health scanner will immediately detect the missing role and offer the Auto-Fix button to cleanly purge it from your catalog and redraw your palette.

Does Rinelle store my server's messages or chat logs?

No. Rinelle only stores the metadata necessary to manage color roles (role IDs, names, color values, and creator IDs). We never log message content or user conversations.
