Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Rinelle (the "Bot", "Service"), operated as a community Discord application and companion website.

By adding Rinelle to your Discord server, interacting with its commands, or visiting this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Discord Compliance

To use Rinelle, you must:

  1. Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age required in your country).
  2. Comply with the Discord Terms of Service and Discord Community Guidelines.

2. Description of Service

Rinelle provides Discord server utility tools, including role management, canvas palette rendering, role auditing, and upcoming modular extensions.

Rinelle is provided "as is" and "as available". We reserve the right to modify, update, or temporarily suspend aspects of the Service to perform maintenance or security updates.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Rinelle to violate Discord's Terms of Service or applicable laws.
  • Exploit bugs, abuse rate limits, or intentionally attempt to degrade bot performance or WebSocket connectivity.
  • Use Rinelle's role creation tools to generate offensive, harmful, hateful, or illegal content.

4. Availability & Rate Limiting

To ensure high availability across all servers, Rinelle enforces rate limits on intensive operations (such as mass role creation, canvas rendering, and server health scans). Attempting to circumvent these limits may result in temporary or permanent blacklisting.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Rinelle's maintainers or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of server data, role hierarchy modifications performed by server admins, or temporary service interruptions.

6. Termination

You may stop using Rinelle at any time by kicking or banning the Bot from your server. We reserve the right to restrict access to servers or users that violate these Terms.
